La Avenida-Water Project

Nicaragua

Community of Faith sponsors an annual mission trip to Nicaragua which includes:

  • Annual water projects in villages in the Rio San Juan – San Carlos region on Nicaragua’s southern border
  • Providing supplies to sew school uniforms for children in need
  • Supporting the production and sale of local handicrafts
  • Supporting theological training programs for pastors
  • Spiritual partnership with churches and families in Nicaragua

The annual fundraising drives and visits have been carried out by members of our church, our principal western Kentucky partner at First Christian Church in Madisonville, KY and Lakeside Presbyterian, Lakeside Park, KY, and First Christian Church, Princeton, KY, since 1998.
