| Community of Faith's Nicaragua Mission |
Community of Faith sponsors an annual mission trip to Nicaragua which includes:
Providing supplies to sew school uniforms for children in need,
Supporting the production and sale of local handicraft,
Spiritual support of partner churches.
Selling fair trade coffee, tea, and CHOCOLATE as part of the Cincinnati Presbytery program.

We had a successful visit with the Pastoral Committee of Rio San Juan in southwestern Nicaragua during the first week of March, 2010. This year, we had delegates from two Presbyterian churches from northern Kentucky and from two Christian churches (Disciples). Tentative plans are being made for the annual delegation to Nicaragua in March, 2011.
These annual visits have been carried out by members of our church, Lakeside Presbyterian (1st year), and our Kentucky partners at First Christian Church (Disciples) in Madisonville, KY, since 1998.
